In some encouraging economic news, more than one out of three zip codes in the United States saw its median prices either increase or stay flat in the past year. However, the slump staggers on for high-end homes. The slide continues but at a slower pace. In the top 500 high-end zip codes, the average home price fell 5% to $1.2 million from last year. In 2009, the decline of the markets on saw a drop of 7%.
